KOBUDO
Okinawa weapons training. We study a wide range of weapons and kata (forms) from different styles. The kata can be named after the founder of the kata or perhaps after a geological location. Many kata and techniques were lost after WWII.
WEAPONS
The following okinawa weapons are just a few examples of what weapons are studied. A complete list can be found within these pages.
Rokushaku Bo,. 6ft staff made from various woods and metal and various shapes - round, square, hex etc.

Hanbo - short stick (Escrima, Kali, short stick)
Three pronged, trident type weapon. Can resemble a short sword. Usuailly hex or round in shape. generally used in pairs or a hidden third sai may be used.
Side handle baton. Made from various woods. usually round or square.
